AFI-Rental Group’s operations in the UK include a national footprint of depots providing powered access equipment hire from our large fleet of high-quality machines; equipment sales, and working-at-height training, all accessible to customers via our innovative e-commerce platform.
Trading in the UK as AFI-Uplift and through other sister brands, we operate a nationwide powered access hire fleet, including scissor lifts, boom lifts (articulating booms, stick booms), mast lifts, and push-around verticals (PAVs) through 15 depots nationwide, Our versatile fleet delivers reach heights up to 75m.
Our depot network and transport fleet provide nationwide coverage for all of our MEWP-hire operations across the UK.
Through our Wilson Access, Facelift and Spiderlift brands, we offer a range of truck mounts, track mounts, specialist underbridge units and self-drive van-mounted cherry pickers.  Rapid Hoists provides specialist passenger and goods hoists to the UK construction and contracting industries.
Through AFI-Training, the group is a leading accredited working-at-height training course provider in the UK. Built upon our many decades of experience in the Powered Access industry, we deliver high-quality training for all types of MEWPs and Mobile Access Towers.
IPAF & PASMA Working-at-Height training courses are offered from our dedicated training centres across the UK or, where suitable, directly at our customers’ premises. Our courses meet industry standards, equipping workers with essential skills to operate safely and efficiently.
AFI-Resale has one of the largest and most reputable MEWP equipment sales operations in the UK and a strong capability for equipment sourcing and sales. We resell equipment from our rental fleet to a global market of buyers through AFI-Resale, maximising the economic life of equipment in our industry. We also source new equipment from a range of manufacturing partners. Service and maintenance options are offered to UK customers to ensure machines meet their regulatory and legal requirements and remain safe to use.
Through AJ Access Platforms, we sell innovative, safe, reliable and efficient new MEWPs from the most reputable brands, including electric and hybrid MEWPs. Our comprehensive suite of services can include product training, maintenance and servicing support. As Zoomlion’s UK dealer for Powered Access equipment, AJ Access offers a range of new Zoomlion AWP (Aerial Work Platform) products, including available finance options for finance lease solutions and contract hire. Strong relationships with key manufacturers enable us to provide the latest new powered access machines for sale.
In the Middle East, our specialised powered access businesses offer specialist hire, sales and training services under the Access Rental Gulf brand.
Originally based in Dubai, UAE, Access Rental Gulf has grown company with several depots covering the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. We currently operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.
